Games are one of the easiest ways to make English lessons more exciting. Thai students often enjoy learning when they can move, laugh, compete, and work together.

1. Board Race
Divide the class into teams. Give students a topic such as animals, food, verbs, or school objects. One student from each team runs to the board and writes one word related to the topic.
The team with the most correct words wins.
2. Vocabulary Relay
Prepare vocabulary cards and place them at the front of the room. Students take turns choosing a card, reading it, and making a sentence.
This activity combines movement with language practice.
3. Whisper Game
Students sit or stand in lines. The teacher whispers a sentence to the first student. The message continues down the line until the last student says it out loud.
This game helps with listening and pronunciation.
4. Guess the Word
One student describes a word without saying the actual word. The class must guess the answer.
For example, "It is big. It has a long nose. It is gray." The answer is "elephant."
5. Stand Up If...
The teacher says sentences such as "Stand up if you like pizza" or "Stand up if you have a dog." Students listen and respond.
This is a great warm-up activity.
